Choose the programme that fits you

  • Hands-on activities: the programme lists Neolithic archaeology experiences and prehistoric barbecue activities. Check ages, registration and charges for each.
  • After dark: media façades, light displays, an opening drone show and closing fireworks are listed; individual shows do not run every day.
  • Performances and market: if activity registration is full, consider the stage and market instead.

Why spend time here?

  • This is a chance to encounter an earlier layer of Seoul through activities and performances
  • It suits curious visitors who enjoy trying something with their hands rather than only reading displays.

Choose for your language comfort

Visual performances can be easier to enjoy without Korean than archaeology activities or talks. Check how a session is conducted and do not assume interpretation is included.

Build a simple half-day

Choose one activity and one performance instead of trying to complete the schedule. Keep an exhibition or performance as a backup if an activity is full. Plan your journey home before staying for the evening.

Add a riverside walk

  • Gwangnaru Hangang Park (광나루한강공원): consider riverside scenery before or after the festival in the Amsa area.
  • Keep it manageable: a river walk → one festival activity → one performance. This is an editorial suggestion, not an organised package; shorten it for children’s energy, weather and the journey home.
